Height Limit

The Overlay District specifies that light poles must be no more than 20ft high and lights of low intensity for compatibility and to protect the environment.

A dozen light towers will be 70ft tall eyesores, 50ft higher than permitted.

Four 60ft tall eyesores will be 40ft higher than permitted.

The Overlay District requires the light shall not spill over into adjoining properties – while the lights will be directed to the field, make no mistake, the light towers and the lighted fields will be visible to those living near the park. The light will be visible from over a mile away.
