Incompatible

Neighborhood parks are incompatible with stadium lighting.

The Overlay District requirements state that a variance must be compatible with the surrounding area. Glaring stadium lights do not belong in a place where the dark nighttime sky is considered a gift that must be appreciated and protected. Ponte Vedra Beach residents respect the natural beauty of their community for themselves and the thousands that visit annually.
