Artificial lights destroy natural habits and habitats
Just 150ft from where these lights are proposed to be installed, there is a large roosting site where spoonbills, ibises, egrets, and many other birds roost every night. Across the street and visible to birds is the Guana River, where birds and wildlife live, and just south of the park is the Guana Reserve. Disrupting the natural habitat in these protected areas could impact ecotourism, and potentially harm wildlife.
